AudioBatch delivery guide

How to batch convert audio files on Mac

A reliable batch conversion is a controlled handoff, not just a queue of Save As dialogs. The output rules, metadata, collision policy and verification should be defined before the first file is written.

1. Start from a delivery recipe

Define the required formats, sample rate, channel layout, bitrate and folder structure once. Use that same recipe for every file in the batch.

2. Inspect the source queue

Review duration, format, channels, sample rate, peak and metadata. Flag files that need resampling, downmixing or separate mastering attention.

3. Plan output paths

Preserve relative folders when needed and detect filename collisions before encoding. Never place generated files over the source masters.

4. Audit the results

Decode or inspect every written output, record file size and audio properties, then create checksums and a report for the final delivery folder.
