AudioBatch delivery guide
How to prepare podcast audio delivery files
Podcast delivery often repeats the same work: create upload copies, apply episode tags, preserve artwork and confirm that every file follows the same technical rules.
Choose the listening formats
Create only the formats required by the host or client. MP3 is broadly accepted, while M4A/AAC may be useful for a separate listening or platform workflow.
Set sample rate and channels
Use the specification supplied by the destination. When a source differs, record that a conversion or downmix is planned instead of hiding it.
Apply episode metadata
Check title, artist or show name, album or season, track, year and artwork before starting the batch. Metadata errors multiply quickly across many outputs.
Review peaks and reports
Treat peak and estimated loudness readings as preflight information. If mastering changes are required, make them deliberately in the source workflow and regenerate the delivery copies.
